From Hills to Hollers in your all things traditional music podcast where we explore the origins and histories of many different kinds of music from all around the world. wether it is early Mexican American borderland fiddle tunes, Ballads of the Scottish highlands or ancient runic song from the Baltic countries. Every episode will be different and focus on different elements of any given tradition. Some episodes will just be hosted by myself and others will be interviews/conversations with a variety of friends, musicians, historians or ethnomusicologists who are masters in their specific fields of study. The production of this podcast is a labor of love and I hope you enjoy listening to the episodes as much as I enjoy making them. That being said, each episode takes many hours of research, writing, recording and editing.
